GBP Industries

GBP Industries announced that it had agreed to sell all of its outstanding stock to Sullivan Graphics Inc. Terms were not disclosed. GBP Industries, which is privately held and based in Buffalo, owns seven printing operations in the United States and Canada that produce high-volume products. It had revenues of $472 million in 1988. Sullivan Graphics was formed last August by James T. Sullivan, its president, and the investment firm of Golder, Thoma & Cressey.
Banner Industries

Banner Industries said it had bid $457 million, mostly in cash, to acquire the aircraft braking systems and engineered fabrics divisions of the Loral Corporation, a company whose leading business is military electronics systems. Banner said its proposal was higher than a recently announced bid of $425 million in cash and notes by Bernard L. Schwartz, Loral's chief executive and one of its largest shareholders. Banner said its proposal consists of $432 million in cash and a $25 million face amount subordinated convertible debentures similar to the debentures offered by Mr. Schwartz. Banner said its offer was not subject to financing.
NCNB Won't Bid Again for Citizens

The NCNB Corporation has no intention of resubmitting an offer for the Citizens and Southern Corporation, NCNB's chairman, Hugh L. McColl, said, calling the withdrawal of $2.4 billion bid ''the end of the saga.'' But at a news conference at NCNB's Charlotte headquarters, Mr. McColl also promised to continue his company's aggressive expansion efforts in the Southeast into the 1990's.

United Air Jet Order Expected
