Foster Murrell Brooks (May 11, 1912 – December 20, 2001) was an American actor and comedian best known for his portrayal of a lovable drunk in nightclub performances and television programs.

IN THE BROOKLYN MUSEUM a group of frescoes from North Italy recently has been installed. Four belong to the early sixteenth century and two are of later date. They come from localities in the Province of Bergamo, two of them are from church interiors and the others are from the exteriors of houses, all being in an excellent state of preservation and examples of a kind of art which is rare in this country.
